Blue and White Renaissance

There is a revival of the classic blue and white patterns this season as demonstrated by one of our Quirky Teapot Top Cake Stands which was chosen to show piece in the June 2012 issue of Kitchens Bathrooms and Bedrooms Magazine.

Classic Blue and White
Tea Time Quirky Blue and White Teapot Top Cake Stand

This tiered blue and white cake stand was created using vintage plates and a small vintage Sadler Willow Pattern teapot. The original 'Willow' pattern was imported from China in the late eighteenth century and was made popular by Thomas Minton. Many famous potteries such as Royal Worcester, Spode and Wedgwood produced Willow pattern ceramics and variations of the Willow pattern.

We have a variety of beautiful new and vintage blue china in stock - something for everyone.
